Belle Isle Development, LLC, was formed by the father son team of Bob and Russell “Rusty” Rymer to allow for a combination of experience in business and life to enhance their individual knowledge and development expertise. With numerous real estate holdings including vacant land, commercial development, office space and warehouse properties, Bob Rymer brings over 40 years of business and development experience to the company formed in 2006 to specifically develop high quality residential communities that will leave a legacy to both the community and for the family. Learning the family business at a young age, Rusty Rymer learned his fathers’ business discipline early on and carried that discipline out with a long and committed career in law enforcement and fire fighting. Rusty brings this work ethic, together with his energy and commitment to the development field, with over 215 residential lots in two communities currently under development in the Nashville area.
Belle Isle is intended to become the crown jewel of the Rymer’s portfolio. The development philosophy from the first time the property was toured was to use the beautiful natural landscape with minimal manmade changes to create a world-class golf and residential community. History and family lineage are important principles in the company’s vision for the development of Belle Isle. Creating a lasting memorial for the Kirkpatrick family, original owners of the plantation, and a thriving community the Rymer family can continue to be proud of for generations to come, has become the guiding principles for the planning and ultimately the execution of this exceptional development opportunity.
